Concordia Engineered Fibers, dba Concordia Fibers, LLC, is celebrating a successful JEC exhibition. Highlights from the show include a visit with United States Ambassador to France, Denise Campbell Bauer, our technical capabilities presentation, and the collaborative meetings with incredible industry minded individuals. It was an honor to showcase our how Concordia can apply over 100 years of fiber and yarn experience for the composites industry. Our Commingling process blends two or more continuous filament fibers to produce a hybrid homogenized yarn, and these yarns can then be woven, braided, knitted, pultruded or embroidered. Materials made of comingled yarn have reduced risk for void fractions and can be draped and formed into complex shapes under heat and pressure.
